Artistic Portfolio

General artistic intention

My work lies at the intersection of art and technology , serving as a social critique and exploring the relationship between humans and technology by blending VR, AI, and speculative design .

The Suns Dream
Immersive and participatory virtual reality installation
In collaboration with Juliette Karlsson — Mons Museum Hub / Van Gogh House

Visitors are invited to experience virtual reality (VR) by painting in three dimensions — their choice — sunflowers or stars , using a VR headset.

For those who prefer to simply observe, a live broadcast and a space for contemplation are available.

An informational area presents the VR tools and how the work functions, so that each participant can discover this experience with complete peace of mind.

Kayou AI Innovation

(Interdisciplinary Artistic Project)

My Interdisciplinary Artistic Project (IAP) at Maison Folie is an immersive exploration of the intersection between art and technology, centered around the integration of artificial intelligence into various aspects of daily life. This installation combines digital artworks, an interactive installation, and a virtual reality experience to present a fictional company, the Kayou Group, which uses AI to revolutionize and "enrich" our everyday lives.

Video PAI Pierre GOSÉE.gif

Through this project, I sought to stimulate reflection on the ethical and practical implications of AI, while showcasing the creative possibilities offered by this technology. By using advanced techniques for AI-powered text generation, image creation, and musical composition, my work demonstrates how art can merge with technology to create new forms of artistic expression.

This PAI, presented in the dynamic environment of Maison Folie, not only allowed me to share my work with a wide audience but also stimulated an enriching dialogue on the future of art and technology in our society.

"DUO" Exhibition
(At Gilson Castle in La Louvière)

As part of the Kayou Group, which explores the intersection of technology and fiction to question our relationship to progress, I present Kayou AI Innovation. This project is a natural evolution of my previous works, such as "Kayou Human Extensions" and "Kayou Universe Technology," and focuses on the absurdity of our growing dependence on artificial intelligence.

The "Duo" exhibition at Château Gilson highlights the work of Juliette Karlsson and Pierre Gosée. Juliette explores the potato in conceptual sculptures, while Pierre critiques our dependence on artificial intelligence with his "Kayou AI Innovation" project.

The goal of Kayou AI Innovation is to highlight how the abuses associated with AI are actually a reflection of our own excesses, rather than inherent flaws in these technologies. Through this project, I hope to provoke critical reflection on our use of and dependence on AI, encouraging the public to consider how we, as a society, shape these tools in our own image, thereby amplifying our own shortcomings.

Finally, through this exploration, I aim to highlight the positive potential of AI when used in an informed and responsible manner. This is not merely a critique, but also an invitation to rethink our relationship with technology, seeing it as a catalyst for a more conscious and harmonious future.

Kayou universe technology

(Part of which was exhibited for [VITRINE]#9 on rue d'Havré in Mons and for [LUMEN]#8 at the Tournai Puppet Museum)

"Committed to showcasing the creativity and artists of the region and revealing its diversity and richness, the Mons 2025 Foundation and the city of Mons are conducting a series of temporary exhibitions in vacant storefronts in the city center." Kayou Universe Technology is the ninth project exhibited as part of this initiative.

"Kayou Universe Technology" (KUT) presents a company capable of exploring other universes in search of advanced technologies. This work follows on from a previous work called "Kayou Human Extensions" (KHE) in which the viewer was immersed in ambiguity, between truth and falsehood.

Here, the public is invited to imagine another universe and compare it to our own through the existence of a company that has succeeded in extracting objects from other realities, such as a choice-dictator, an emotion vacuum cleaner, a consciousness-fuser, or even a basic knowledge inculcator. These objects offer an alternative vision of the world focused on efficiency, rationality, and growth.

Logitronic AI Design

(Part of which was exhibited for "All Hammers Are Alike" at the Maison des Arts in Schaerbeek)

The "Logitronic AI Designing" project marks the beginning of Kayou's expanding entrepreneurial universe. This initiative introduces a series of objects from a parallel universe, governed by a productivity-focused AI. These objects invite reflection on the oversimplification of life and the ever-increasing cost of comfort and convenience. It will later be revealed that these objects are, in fact, discoveries made by Kayou Universe Technology.

Kayou human extensions

Kayou Human Extension is a fictional company whose mission is to enhance human capabilities through innovative products. Among the items offered are a memory storage port, a seduction serum, and a mood-clearing device.

The project was conceived as a hybrid space, simultaneously a showroom and an advertising testing ground. Viewers were invited to discover these products in an immersive environment before participating in an advertising experiment. During this experiment, they were observed while watching a home shopping program, eliciting both amusement and, at times, a feeling of unease at the idea of being studied.
